About Me

People who know me know that my motto has always been “I’ll sleep when I die“. That being said, I’m hoping one day I can balance my life and actually look forward to at least 7 hours of sleep per night.

In the meantime, most of my creativity happens after all my children are in bed. I read technical books, learn new programs, build new websites, create art, scrapbook, write, or google for more knowledge!

Pillow Talk is a blog that reaches out to people who either have some form of  insomnia or such a drive for success that they sacrifice sleep to obtain it! While the rest of the world may close the bedroom door, shut out the lights, and perhaps engage in real pillow-talk with their significant others, the sleep deprived of the world are invited here to discuss topics such as, web design, photography, scrap-booking, art, graphic design, writing books, running a business, etc.

Some facts about me and some of my favorite things:

I am one of 11 children.

I have 5 children (4 girls and 1 boy in the middle).

I am a green belt in Chun Kuk Do and training with a bo staff.

I love MMA.

I love Ali G.

I love chic flicks.

I am learning to ballroom dance and do a pretty cool cha cha and tango.

I love all dancing.

I love R&B.

I love seafood.

I am a published author (My Memoir - Beyond the Present will be available online at Barnes & Noble, Amazon and many more in early March 2010).

I own a web design /online marketing company.

I own multiple online gift stores.

I am an artist and my favorite medium is watercolor.

I love everything artsy, and enjoy scrapbooking.

I would stay awake forever if I could keep from getting tired.

I love computers, especially Mac’s and own 4 of them.

I love chocolate.

I am not a morning person.

I am a creature of comfort and love all things soft.

I love massages.

I drink white wine.

I hate beer (Except malt beverages like Mike’s Hard Cranberry Lemonade)

I love vintage jewelry and own an online vintage jewelry store.

I love foo foo drinks.

I am a type A personality - A Field Marshall - Myers Briggs / ENTJ.

I love being married.

I LOVE going out!

I am a perfectionist.

I like the weather hot, with indoor air-conditioning.

I like soft beds and hard floors.

I’m a Democrat surrounded by Republicans.

I like being the center of attention. (Thus the following statement).

I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right wrist.
