Beyond the Present

I finally did it.. I finally finished my first book! I say first because now I can’t wait to write another. My first book, “Beyond the Present”  is currently in production and will be published and available for sale at Barnes & Noble online and Amazon.com among many other online bookstores and potentially in store shelves by late February / early March. It is a Memoir and so my next book will probably be completely different than the first. I am tossing around the idea of a children’s novel but there are so man things that I could write a book about that I’m sort of torn right now.

The idea that I wrote over 76,000 words over 5 years and that those words are actually going to be in print is still amazing to me. I think about it and I’m like…”I actually wrote a book? WOW”.   I think it’s something that a lot of people dream of but might never actually accomplish. I’m amazed that I finished it with so many other hobbies and interest over the last few years not to mention working full time running a business and being a mom to 5 kids.

But the time has come and it is real! Funny how the last week has been so strange.. I’ve been a little on edge thinking something will happen to me and I’ll die in a car accident or something before I see the final book in print.  Ok.. good thing I’m not really superstitious. My husband would have me knocking on wood right now.

So mark your calendars and start looking online towards the beginning of March! Of course I’m sure I will be on here with full details and links to my marketing site once it hits shelves!
