A Memoir - Is it Truth or Fiction?

I recently read another blog article about whether a Memoir is truth or fiction. Since I just finished my Memoir this made me think about my book. While in the beginning stages of writing my book I often wondered how clearly I could remember exactly what had taken place so many years ago. While some memories are more etched with vivid images and recollections of specific conversations, others are more blurred. Joe Stack - Suicide Letter or Murder Threat?

Sorry my blog post is not a “Poor Joe Stack” story. I understand being depressed, and this economy is no fun time for anyone, and had Joe Stack posted his letter and then flew into a field and killed himself I’d have been more apt to feel for him and care about his plight. But I will never understand how someone can justify being depressed and down and out and since nothing seems like it will get better they decide to kill themselves and take as many people as they can with them. Having an Anxious Child

My youngest daughter has always been somewhat of an introvert in a primarily extrovert family. Most of her childhood I’ve spent trying to get her to join the crowd or become involved in a sport or take dance or order her own food at a restaurant.
